Lean Towards Generosity

Love people, not things; use things, not people.
— Spencer W. Kimball

A wealthy friend of a friend haggled a low rate for my husband’s electrical services. He agreed to help our friend and was gracious about it but said the whole energy was guilt and shame. Being wise with money and honoring the value of the product/service is a fine line we all try to balance. This interaction reminded us to err on the side of generosity when people are involved.
